Red Fort
The massive fort was built during the reign of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Made of red sandstone the fort is the location from where the Prime Minister of India addresses the country men every Independence Day. The Fort houses the palaces like the Diwan-e-khas and Diwan-e-am and the weaponry museum.

Qutab Minar
The monument was built during the rule of Sultan Qutub-ud-din Aibak in 1199 A.D. This 72.5 metre high minar stands as a symbol of the Delhi Sultanate. Qutab Minar is a fine example of Afghan architecture.

Humayun's Tomb
Hamida Begum wife of Humayun, built this tomb in 1556. Set on a platform amidst a garden, this tomb is an example of early Mughal architecture.

Jama Masjid
One of the biggest mosque in India was built during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. The Indo-Islamic style mosque is built of red sandstone and white marble. The mosque has a large courtyard, onion domes and central tank.

Rashtrapati Bhawan
President's House, DelhiLocated in central Delhi, the President's mansion lies on Raisina Hill. Overlooking the green lawns around India Gate, this building known for its architectural beauty and historic significance. Another attraction is the beautiful Mughal Gardens, which are open to the public in spring season usually in February- March.

Parliament House
This magnificent building is also called as the heart and pride of India. The building with its wide pillared walkways and large halls is a major attraction for tourists.

India Gate
This 42 metre high arch is situated on Rajpath. It was designed by Edwin Lutyens in memory of the Indian soldier who lost their life during the World War first. The names of the soldier can be seen inscribed on the arch. An eternal flame known as the Amar Jawan Jyoti burns in the memory of unknown soldier. India Gate is an ideal picnic spot as it is surrounded by green lawns, fountains and water bodies.

Lotus Temple
This monument of the Bahai community is built to in the shape of a lotus. Set amidst, lakes and green lawns this is a serene house of meditation, inside which there is no any idol and total silence prevails.
